Photo entitled: “After the Rise” This picture was taken in the city park beneath the Current River bridge a few days after the last river rise. This park offers fishing, beach, swimming & boat launch. The objects in the frame are a puddle of river water, sandy mud, concrete & blue sky reflecting in the water.
Photo entitled: “World Tree/Axis Mundi” This is the shot of which the former post “Mary at the Crucifixion II” was a detail. That detail can be found at the top area of this shot! The bright orange colors within the debarked area is the dripping of the tree’s sap. This area is filled with many nails, screws, bolts and of course with me faces. The tree has since died & has been cut down. When I walk there now it feels like the last page in the book that I read to my grandson, “The Giving Tree”.
