"World's 2nd Best Freshly Baked Melonpan Ice Cream"- that's not a review it's the name of this adorable ice cream shop. Sweet and fluffy melon pan bread comes piping hot from the oven, crispy on the outside soft on the inside and filled to the brim with ice cream and fruits.
Hurrah 🙌, tornado potatoes... I first heard about these before visitng South Korea 7 years ago. I was so excited to try them. I looked for them everywhere, my search took me on a beautiful adventure but alas, despite the alleyways and street markets I scoured I couldn't find them. Then yesterday while wandering around Cheung Chai Island I turned a corner and there it was- a tiny food stand selling tornado potatoes-- they were delicious. Life doesn't usually work out the way you planned, but the real story is generally way better.
