The leggings I am wearing are a photograph of Los Roques, a tiny remote island in Venezuela suffering what the rest of the country is also going through. Would you protest if you had no voice? No food? No medicines? Lived in fear? My brave and strong sister in this world @magallypadronc is someone that you should follow and help her help her country in any way you can. The only way to end suffering in this world Is not to stand by like a voyeur but to be one that acts in any way they can to help others. We can't ignore suffering people in the world if we want to end world suffering and we can't leave each other out even as neighbors in need if we want a street full of harmony. I find it funny when people take the opening ceremony of my workouts to the extreme assuming I only believe in lifting 3 pound weights. I only believe in flinging 3 pound weights around for the warm up section I created specifically for 3 pound weights nearly 20 years ago. 😂You know the truth of what we do in my muscular structure is pushing a hell of a lot more that 3 pounds. With that said the energy of how you perform the warm up in class is meaningful. If my hip is pushing back while the arm takes on an opposing direction commit with me. Loosen up and at the same time stir up your own energy as you get your head and your body into the game. You're beginning a conversation. You're receiving information from my movement, translating it and putting it into appropriate action. Try and unblock the numerous tension producing roadblocks in your way. Don't stand too wide and let every part of your body be ready to move. I love seeing all of your posts working out!
