If you have been following our facebook page or group I asked the question this past week, Tofu: Hate It or Love It? Reason being is tofu is extremely versatile. The fact that it is very neutral in taste means it can actually take on the flavour of whatever you would like it to, by simply marinating it or adding a good rub. Also consuming plants high in protein, like tofu will help keep you fuller for longer. Spicy ”Chickin” Caesar Baguette recipe just was sent out in The Foodie Feature! This time last year we embarked on a month long trip to London, France and Spain! It had been a life long dream of mine to go to Spain and for Chad it was France. So much history and a deeply rooted food scenes, made them top of our list of places to go. We had the pleasure of eating at a couple of Michelin star restaurants in France and Spain, but I have to say when it came to dining out my favourite restaurants were in London. Perhaps it was because we had amazing local friends finding these wicked spots. Or the endless choices of delicious vegan food. Whatever the case, it was easy to do what we love best on vacay, eat wicked food, sample local beverages and hang out with friends! I have to say our best dining experiences happened when we would go to the local markets pick up ingredients, come home and make an amazing meal. It’s was so nice being able to relax, while dinner was in the oven and River could run wild. Whether it was the three of us or we were with friends sharing a good meal, conversation and wine, you can't go wrong!

Even when we were meat eaters, we preferred the vegetarian options on the Indian menu. However, butter chicken was one that really didn’t have a comparable plant-based option, until now.
