Text stickers are your friend! Sometimes all a story needs is an aesthetic sticker.
Instagram stories don’t have to be complicated! Sometimes it’s all in the presentation of the text. Use some capital letters, put spaces between them to emphasize the word/phrase. If you’d like to mention more things in the story, I like listing them out separated with these bolded dots • • •
Canva is also another great graphic design template tool to use to up your insta game. And it’s honestly so fast and easy to use: 1. pick template - 2. upload pic - 3. change text - 4. done
So. This was made via a live photo from the iphone. I didn’t like the photo originally because my hair was in the way. But as I watched the live photo, it looked workable. I made a loop from the live photo and used inshot to duplicate the clips together + added some chill instrumentals to the background to match the hair Lesson learned: Always watch the live photo for hidden gems!!
If the background is too light/bright, use the highlighted text option to create a background label for the text! Here I also selected a color that matches the colors in the boomerang
Put text around a sticker text for a cool typography effect. More typography examples to come in the future! Definitely want to play around with text more for my instagram stories
Add locations to your insta stories with the location sticker to let your followers know where you are. I also like stacking some stickers on top to add to the story.
Post 2 almost identical stories (usually with 1 or 2 changes) one after the other so when your followers tap through them, it gives a snappy transition effect. For example: here I have the dog sticker popping on the image when tapping through.
Labeling the subject(s) of the story allows your audience to understand the purpose of the post!
