VEGAN CAULIFLOWER TACOS - SAVE THIS RECIPE AND TAG A FRIEND WHO WOULD LOOOVE IT!!! ⠀ ⠀ ✨Ingredients ✨⠀ 🔸1 batch paprika roasted cauliflower⠀ 🔸1 can black beans⠀ 🔸1 avocado, sliced⠀ 🔸Rocket leaves⠀ 🔸1 capsicum, sautéed⠀ 🔸Tahini sauce⠀ 🔸4 x @latortilleriaau corn tortillas (you'll find these in your June box!!)⠀ ✨Paprika roasted cauliflower:✨⠀ 🔸1 head Cauliflower, cut into florets⠀ 🔸2 tsp each paprika + cumin + garlic powder⠀ 🔸Salt⠀ 🔸2 tbsp olive oil ⠀ ✨Tahini sauce:✨⠀ 🔸¼ cup tahini⠀ 🔸¼ cup water⠀ 🔸Juice of ½ lime⠀ 🔸Cumin ⠀ 🔸Salt + pepper, to taste⠀ ⠀ ✨Method✨⠀ 1️⃣Preheat oven to 180°C⠀ 2️⃣In a large bowl, mix the cauliflower, paprika, cumin, salt and olive oil until evenly combined.⠀ 3️⃣Place the cauliflower on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Roast for 25-30 minutes until it is tender and browned.⠀ 4️⃣Meanwhile, whisk all the tahini sauce ingredients in a bowl.⠀ 5️⃣Warm your tortillas over an open flame or in the oven.⠀ 6️⃣Top tortillas with roasted cauliflower, black beans, rocket leaves, avocado, capsicum and tahini sauce. WOW! What a magical night with all you guys!! If you love coffee and you love chocolate this is the recipe for you!!⠀ ⠀ ✨ Ingredients✨⠀ 450g mashed banana⠀ ½ cup maple syrup⠀ 1/2 cup coconut oil⠀ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract⠀ ½ cup melted coconut oil⠀ 2 tsp @OrganicMountain coffee⠀ 3 cups almond meal⠀ ½ cup ground flaxseed meal⠀ 1 cup raw cacao powder⠀ 2 tsp baking powder⠀ Raspberries, coconut flakes and cacao nibs to decorate (optional).⠀ ✨Coconut frosting ✨⠀ ⠀ 1 cup raw cashews, soaked for at least 2 hours⠀ ½ cup coconut cream⠀ ¼ cup coconut butter⠀ 2 tsp vanilla extract⠀ 3 tbsp maple syrup⠀ ✨Method✨⠀ 1️⃣Preheat oven to 160°C fan-forced and line a cake tin with baking paper.⠀ 2️⃣Blend bananas, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla and espresso powder in a blender or food processor until smooth and creamy.⠀ 3️⃣In a bowl combine the almond meal, flaxseed, cacao powder and baking powder.⠀ 4️⃣Pour the banana mixture over the dry ingredients and stir to combine.⠀ 5️⃣Spoon into a prepared baking tin and smooth out the top.⠀ 6️⃣Bake for 1 hour or until a tooth pick comes out clean.⠀ 7️⃣Meanwhile combine all of the frosting ingredients into a blender until smooth.⠀ 8️⃣Once the cake is cool spread over frosting and top with raspberries and coconut.⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ #goodnessmebox #gmb #chocolate #healthychocolate #chocolaterecipe #chocolatecake #healthychocolaterecipe #healthyrecipe
What was your AH HA moment when it comes to health? ⠀ ⠀ When I was 21 I began to experience flu-like symptoms which I managed to ignore. However, one week of swollen glands, fatigue, headaches turned into one month and I just couldn’t ignore it anymore. I saw a handful of doctors, but none could provide me with answers that relieved my symptoms. ⠀ ⠀ Over the years I carried on battling with recurrent colds and a shot immune system, it wasn’t until I had my 9th one for the year that I was finally diagnosed with an auto-immune condition. It was a moment of relief but also overwhelming. Here I was in my mid 20’s with a condition whereby my body was rejecting itself. ⠀ ⠀ I started by adopting an integrative approach whereby I changed my lifestyle. One key change was no more artificial foods, additives, or refined ingredients. This really shook things up for me, but I made a habit of it and started to slowly feel better. ⠀ ⠀ I believe that eating wholefoods isn't a diet but a lifestyle. THE BEST VEGAN NACHOS⠀ ⠀ Get ready for the most delicious vegan nachos using @theglutenfreefoodco Queso Sauce. Roasted Carrot Salad with @greenteax50 broccoli chips - I think you guys are seriously going to love this recipe! Tag a friend who would also love it! ⠀ ⠀ ✨ Ingredients ✨⠀ 1 bunch dutch carrots, cut in half lengthways⠀ ½ tsp sumac⠀ ¼ tsp sea salt⠀ 1 tbsp olive oil⠀ 60g packet rocket leaves⠀ 1 can lentils, rinsed⠀ 2 tbsp Dukkah spice⠀ ¼ cup pomegranate seeds⠀ 50g goat cheese⠀ 1 packet X50 broccoli chips⠀ Tahini dressing:⠀ 2 tbsp tahini⠀ 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar⠀ 1 tbsp dijon mustard⠀ Sea salt, to taste⠀ ¼ cup water, to thin⠀ ✨ Method ✨⠀ 1️⃣Preheat your oven to 170°C fan-forced.⠀ 2️⃣Combine carrots, olive oil, sumac and sea salt.⠀ 3️⃣Spread on a lined baking tray and roast for 30 minutes or until golden and cooked through.⠀ 4️⃣Meanwhile, whisk everything together to make the tahini dressing.⠀ 5️⃣Arrange the rocket leaves on a large serving plate then top with lentils, roasted carrots, X50 broccoli chips, pomegranate seeds and goat cheese.⠀ 6️⃣Sprinkle with dukkah and drizzle with tahini sauce.⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ #recipe #goodnessmebox #gmb #healthyfood #healthyrecipes #salad #healthysalad #delicioussalad

So if a product claims to be 'low fat' for example, it's usually packed with sugar to compensate. Because otherwise, it would taste bland! The same goes for unhealthy gluten-free foods. Since gluten is a binding agent (think glue-tin), gluten-free foods can be packed with other preservatives. ⠀ ⠀ Here are 2 great tips so that you CAN'T BE FOOLED! ⠀ ⠀ 1️⃣Eat foods that are as close to their natural state as possible. ⠀ 2️⃣ Become a food label bandit! By law, manufacturers have to disclose every ingredient in their products, so all the info you need is right there on the food label. If you're not sure how to read a nutritional label, we've got you covered. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Here are some tips on how to read food labels:⠀ ⠀ 1️⃣ Ingredients are always written in descending order (in order of largest to smallest quantity), so the first few ingredients are the main ingredients. OMG Anti-ageing chocolate waffles. Yes please!! Haha😜 Here is our recipe for collagen chocolate waffles, tag a friend that would LOVE!⠀ ⠀ Makes 2⠀ 2 eggs⠀ ½ cup almond meal⠀ ½ ripe banana, mashed⠀ 1 tsp maple syrup⠀ 1 packet @thankfullynourished Nourished Marine Collagen⠀ 2 tbsp cacao powder⠀ 1 tsp vanilla extract⠀ 1/2tsp baking powder⠀ To serve: fresh fruit, coconut yoghurt + melted chocolate⠀ ⠀ Method:⠀ Heat waffle iron according to instructions and grease well with coconut oil⠀ Place all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. I don't believe in diets. Do you? Comment below 👇⠀ ⠀ Why? Every diet is based on some sort of limitation, and many diets subscribe to extreme ways of eating. ⠀ ⠀ Ultimately they are not a sustainable lifestyle. I like to focus on abundance. I don't label foods as 'good' or 'bad.' I focus on how foods make me FEEL. If a food makes me feel energetic and full in the best possible way, I'll eat it. ⠀ ⠀ On the flipside, if a food makes me feel heavy, bloated or sick to the stomach, I avoid it. ⠀ ⠀ This is a balanced way of eating. It's the healthiest way of eating. So, let's stop restricting and depriving ourselves. Let's forget the diets and concentrate on making changes to our lifestyles so that we feel BETTER. Let's shift our mindsets from 'dieting' to eating for our health and wellbeing.
