Every healthy relationship can/will blossom and flourish through communication and honest conversation. Now with that being said, THOUGHTS & FEELINGS Are two completely different things. Rationalizing with ones thoughts and ideas is a flexible variable within a conversation and/or conflict. Unlike feelings, in which are fixed. They are there, for a reason, unapologetically, with no intent of altering until welcomed into a common understanding and vulnerably safe space. While we can change the way we think and process something, we can never control or change how we or anyone else naturally feels. Within a relationship, it is important to allow yourself and your partner to be entitled to feel whatever it is they feel, but also be open minded to each others thoughts. A response is very different than a reaction; it can be the determining factor of reaching resolution. I’ve learned this deeply in my current partnership and have grown tremendously by respecting it. The growth has bettered me as an individual and a significant other. In this concept, @mzcarly and I wanted to recreate those toxic arguments and conversations that will forever go around full circle in chaos and misunderstanding till it ends exactly where it started... “I feel this, so i’m right...” “You’re wrong because I feel this” At the end of the day, love rules all. We are all capable of being two imperfect humans who love eachother perfectly. So, do yourself and your lover a favor... stfu & listening. Help eachother understand the reality of what you can fix and what you can’t. And manage it together. Manage your thoughts separately from feelings and learn to Respond instead of reacting.
