Today I went to visit the crew of one of our nations guided missile cruisers (& the 122 Tomahawk missiles vertical launch system they command). Wishing them godspeed on the important mission they are preparing for in defense of freedom & our national security.
Want to understand why some still remain “loyal” to #MaduroRegime? It’s not leftist or anti-American ideology Is that they don’t want to lose the millions they make from schemes such as the looting of #Venezuela’s “CLAP” food distribution program Read @USTreasury advisory: https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/sm681
Today I met with Panama City officials to discuss ongoing issues they are facing in their Hurricane Michael recovery efforts and the urgent need to pass a disaster relief package. Despite devastating Florida’s Panhandle nearly seven months ago, Congress has yet to put politics aside and pass a disaster relief package to help communities recover from Hurricane Michael, and other natural disasters. Good news is that this afternoon, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced additional Federal grants for the State of Florida associated with Hurricane Michael. Panama City will receive $2.483 million and Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative, Inc. will receive $31.597 million for Emergency Protective Measures.
