Farmers market , food truck events , Ferris wheel 🎡!!
Green space with outdoor games, good trucks and a beer/wine garden. Somewhere family friendly that people can spend a few hours outside.
Like San Antonio’s River walk! Or Santa Cruz’s Boardwalk. Blueprints there.
We need a legit speakeasy where I walk into the hardware store and end up with a cocktail in my head. We need to present the history of Sacramento in old sac with an interactive museum too. Encompass what it was like to pan for gold in placerville and grass valley. Embrace what Tahoe did for snowboarding. Elevate the Lodi/Amador wine scene.
Outside small fair lol games activities, outside booths, food !
+1 on beer/wine garden and farmer’s market!!!
Faris wheel, rides, roller coaster, games, like a miniature boardwalk.
Reduce the parking fees in parking structures. I have people who wont come to events in Old Sac because they have to pay $15 on top of food, drink or entertainment costs.
More food festivals.
@hotboat_usa used to put on the boat races that spanned from Tower Bridge to I St. Bridge. Used to draw great crowds! Would be cool to see again!
It was 3 day event on on Memorial Day weekend. Brought in huge crowds of people and vendors. There were activities for for everyone and kids. There was car shows, boat shows on land and water. It’s use to the biggest event in downtown during the summer. I was not the person who put it on but I am hoping to bring this back if the right people jump aboard lol!
Outdoor Christmas market during the winter like they have in Europe!
Farmers markets. Art fair
Bottomless mimosas brunch spots, outdoor activities!
LIVE Music Events on The Waterfront by me @iamhiiidev916 #YEEEAAHHH #DSTUNTS #HiiiDev #SACTO #SACPROUD
Improve the Riverwalk area, and beef up the security so it is more safe to walk it. Maybe a walking bridge to more walking paths on the west side. Free music events and street musicians for ambiance - like they have in the French Quarter of Nola.
once the PowerHouse science center is done, we need a connection from Old Sac!!!
