Unfortunately, since I have addressed some of the issues of my illness I have started to have more neurological symptoms. I don't think these are from vitamin deficiency or from inflammation. They came suddenly around the time I eliminated toxic sources- home and diet (eliminating toxic sources causes Candida Die Off). I tried activated charcoal the other day between supplements and meals, and have not felt anything the last 2 days.. Which makes me think it's the candida releasing neurotoxins into my body as it's dying. I plan to start programming my days more strictly so that I can protect myself and continue taking my vitamin and supplement program. I will also be introducing a new supplement to support the nerve cells in my body, as well as milk thistle to support my liver from all of that acetaldehyde it must be filtering out of my body.😣 The medical industry really needs to address candidiasis. This recipe serves 3 but don’t worry I ate it all in one sitting cause I’m not a quitter. 👇🏼 Click the link in my bio for the full recipe! Ingredients 2 green apples 2 medium-sized sweet potatoes 3 eggs 1/2 cup grape tomatoes 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper Directions 1. Wash and dry the sweet potatoes, apples and tomatoes. 2. Chop up the sweet potatoes, apples and tomatoes. 3. Bring a large pan to medium heat and coat with olive oil. 4. Add in the sweet potatoes, apples and tomatoes and let it cook on low for about 15 or so minutes, stirring occasionally. 5. Continue cooking until the sweet potatoes start turning a light brown and begin to soften. 6. Make 3 holes that you can fit in 3 eggs. 7. Let the eggs cook. I (I typically would use a cast iron skillet for this and put it in the oven to broil but unfortunately it was unavailable!) 8. Cover the pan so the eggs are able to cook more. 9. Take off the heat and coat with some salt and pepper and there you have it, Apple and Sweet Potato Hash.

Food is more than calories in calories out. food contains energy but in more technical terms "chemical bonds" and when broken down, it is used to create fuel for our cells. ⠀ ⠀ Food includes: ⠀ Micronutrients- Vitamins and minerals are crucial for our bodies without them the body breaks down. When we are missing vitamins and minerals this is when we get sick. ⠀ ⠀ Phytochemicals- these are nutrients that can only be found in plants. This is why eating fruit and vegetable is so important for us. They protect us against cancer and reduce overall mortality. ⠀ ⠀ Zoochemical- Are only found in animal products. These have shown to help those with diabetes. Aswell as phytochemicals, they don't provide fuel. ⠀ ⠀ Food also includes fibre and water. ⠀ ⠀ All of these are crucial for our bodies even tho they don't necessarily fuel it directly. ⠀ ⠀ Food is so much more than fuel. Food is information. When we eat we are constantly delivering messages to our bodies. Do this. Don't do this. release this hormone. HOMEMADE BONE BROTH 🍗 Have you tried making bone broth at home yet? If not, I promise you it's really not that difficult (maybe just a little messy!) 🙌🏽 If you're ready to give it a go, here's a simple beef broth recipe to get you started! 💫 . Ingredients: ✧ 1 - 2kg grass-fed beef bones (joint or marrow bones) ✧ 2L filtered water ✧ 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar ✧ 1 onion ✧ 6 cloves garlic ✧ handful fresh rosemary ✧ 1 tbsp sea salt (or more, to taste) ✧ Other equipment: Slow cooker or large pot, large bowl, sieve, 6 pint-sized mason jars . Steps: 1️⃣ Roughly chop your onion and garlic, and add into the slow cooker with the beef bones, salt + fresh rosemary. 2️⃣ Cover the bones completely with filtered water, and add 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar. 3️⃣ Start your slow cooker + leave the broth at a low simmer for 10 - 24 hours. Tip: start your broth in the morning and simmer overnight until the next morning (or evening!). 4️⃣ Once done, remove from the heat and allow to cool. Remove any large bones and strain into a bowl to remove small bone fragments. 5️⃣ Add additional salt to taste + portion into mason jars, leaving an inch at the top to prevent cracking in the freezer. 6️⃣ Store your broth in the fridge for up to 5 days, or freeze for later use. . If you find that the flavour of beef broth is too strong for you at first, then feel free to swap beef bones for chicken frames (for a warming + hearty chicken stock!) 🌟
Today’s dinner bowl, brought to you by the gods of umami and probiotics. 🦠 🌱 Simple cream pasta with beet sauerkraut and tempeh. Tempeh strips: 1 full block of tempeh cut into strips (I used @henrys_tempeh red pepper, about 250g, enough to have some left over) 1/2 tbsp organic soy sauce or tamari (it’s easy to go overboard and make it too salty so less is more) 1 tsp maple syrup 1 tsp biodynamic olive oil 1 tsp grated ginger Sauce: 1/4 cup macadamia nuts, soaked for 15 min. 25g organic sprouted tofu 1 tbsp organic miso 1/4 cup filtered water or almond milk 1 tbsp nutritional yeast 1 tbsp lemon juice 0.25 tsp sea salt freshly cracked black pepper Pasta: 227g chickpea and lentil pasta (I used @chickapeapasta ) Topping: Italian parsley Oregano Chives Random sprouts Method: Boil the pasta with a bit of salt according to package instructions, then drain and set aside. Blend the sauce ingredients in a blender and mix with the pasta. The bonus here is that the sauce won’t be overheated and kill the good bacteria in the miso. Cut the tempeh and place into a saucepan. Pour tamari to evenly coat the strips, mix with ginger and maple syrup, and cover the pan with a lid. Boil until evaporated, flipping the strips after a few minutes to coat evenly. Mix with olive oil when done.
