Soups on! Zucchini, Swiss Chard & Potato Soup. Sauté 1/2 large chopped sweet onion and 3 cloves chopped garlic in pot with 1 tbsp olive oil. Add 3 sliced zucchini, 4 large peeled and sliced potatoes, 28oz diced tomatoes, 7 cups water, 2 tbsp poultry seasoning, 2 tsp sea salt, 1 tsp pepper. Bring to a boil. Simmer, covered for 45 min. Add 1 bunch of chopped swiss chard leaves. Simmer for another 15 min. Turn off heat. Add 1 cup plant milk (if you prefer a creamy tomato base). I cried in the clinic this morning. 😭 The news from the Dr. was overwhelming. I had given up hope and have been afraid to be retested. Today- test results: My HIGH CHOLESTEROL is NOT HIGH anymore. 😱😱😱😱 Praise God -he is so good! 😭😭😭😭💙💙💙💙 60 POINTS LOWER. Dr. Was AMAZED that there could be so much change! She asked "what changed?" that made my cholesterol drop 60 POINTS. So I told her about my workout program and nutrition plan- how previously I THOUGHT i was eating healthy, that organic and all natural was enough. In 2019 i LEARNED to exercise 6x a week, 20-30 mins a day, and eat ACTUAL healthy foods, esp. low fat protein. Including a superfood shake with plants that lower cholesterol. Sugar is the main need of the human body. Every cell in the body requires sugar. Sugar = carbon. That is why we call foods high in sugar, carbo-hy-drates (carbon chained constituents). Carbon and oxygen are essential, up OVER fats and proteins (amino acids). They are essential to create ATP. That is cell energy (charging the battery of the cell) which the body needs to thrive. These carbon cells feed and eliminate, just as every living thing on the planet does. Fruits are higher in antioxidants and astringents and will move your lymphatic system far better than vegetables. This is why one sees a lymphatic response when fruit is consumed. That is what you want. Complex nutrition is not designed for homo sapiens (nor most species) in actuality. Simplicity in digestion and absorption is key. Since energy is at the core of all healing, we must choose foods to eat that are high energy, high vibration, have high astringent qualities to pull on the lymphatic system and digest quickly to allow the body the time and energy it needs to clean itself out, strengthen and rebuild, and heal. Fruits have the highest amount of energy of all the foods. There is a process called biological transmutation (which is not well understood in the medical field) where the body transforms one energy source into another. I can not tell you how calm, grounded and peaceful I feel especially on a Sunday....it’s sets me up for a more mindful week. • The beach makes my meditation practice an experience but we can all have that calm and peace every day just by practicing even 5 minutes of meditation.
